David S LemireDavid Lemire is President of the Investment Advisory Division for Adirondack Financial Services. David's responsibilities include the oversight and direction of the firm's Research Department. The Chartered Financial Analyst® (CFA®) designation refers to investment advisers who focus predominately on the analysis of markets and the selection of securities. Individuals earn the CFA® designation by completing experience, education, examination and ethics requirements for the CFA® Institute over the course of three levels and 18 hours of exams. The CFA® designation is globally recognized and attests to a charterholder's success in a rigorous and comprehensive study program in the field of investment management and research analysis.

 

David's past experience includes research positions at the private bank of Bank of America and M. Griffith Locke Investment Services. His primary responsibilities involve portfolio management as well as security and economic analysis. In addition, David leads the Investment Steering Committee where investment strategy and security selection are determined.

 

David graduated from Kenyon College with a BA in Political Science and earned an MBA with a concentration in Finance from Fordham University. As a current resident of New Hartford, David is active in the community and is a current Board Member of Family Services of the Mohawk Valley as well as Hospice & Palliative Care.
